Experience our Sea Salt Cave
Step barefoot into the heated salt cave which lingers between 72-75 degrees. Wear as little as comfortable so your skin absorbs the dancing salt ready to serve you.
As you cross its threshold, your eyes will adjust to the lighting as your brain begins to process the essence of this handcrafted space.
Over a million touches to individually hand place non-toxic corn starch beads to create a quiet and clean healing sanctuary with over 2500 pounds of Baja Gold Sea Salt on its floor and a 7’ Cherub wing.
Recline in our padded zero gravity chair for your salty experience as you watch our schedule movie of the week. A plush blanket is available, if desired.
Upon laying still, the 1 to 3 micron size salt particles will start wrapping themselves around you to breathe in and absorb through your skin, and cross through the blood brain barrier triggering a release of serotonin just like a happy walk along the seashore.
At a rest state your body is encouraged to engage in a process to heal so it's important to stay quiet, still and breathe deeply.
Before leaving the cave, if you wish I will take a photos of you in front of our 7’ cherub wing as a memory.
Upon stepping out of the salt cave, there will be a bowl of water to step into and rinse your feet, and a towel to dry as you prepare to put your shoes back on and exit the back door into the parking lot.
Parking:
Park in the 501 Columbia Parking Lot across from Full Sail Brewery to enter into our Hood River Salt Cave Entrance.
